MEET OUR DOCTORS

Timothy A. Richards, DDS, P.A.

Dr. Richards did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois and completed graduate work at Case Western Reserve University Dental School. The following year, he did a general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center, after which, he spent 2 years in the Army, stationed at Fort Monmouth, N.J.

He has practiced in Charlotte for over 25 years. Dr. Richards has been a past chief of the department of dentistry at Carolina's Medical Center and very active in local dental affairs.

He spends most of his postgraduate studies in the disciplines of implant therapy, oral reconstruction, and cosmetic dentistry. Though well trained in all aspects of dentistry, these fields have been his focus.

Dr. Richards enjoys the outdoors, especially playing golf and tennis, and spending time with his wife Dale and 3 boys, David, Peter, and Matt.

Dr. Mark Tripp, DDS was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He completed an undergraduate degree in Human Physiology at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada and received the Gold Medal of Honour for the program.

In 1997, Dr. Tripp completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery also from The University of Western Ontario. He came to Charlotte, NC following dental school for a 2 year General Practice Residency training program at Carolinas Medical Center. He maintains an affiliation with CMC with operating room privileges for patients in need of general anesthesia.

Dr. Tripp provides comprehensive services of general and cosmetic dentistry including root canal therapy, oral surgery, crowns/bridges, implants, veneers/lumineers, Invisalign and esthetic composite fillings. His current memberships include the Charlotte Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society and American Dental Association.

Dr. Tripp and his wife, Landi reside in Charlotte with their three dogs Crimson, Jovi and Sophie. In their spare time they enjoy golf, triathalons, travel and entertaining. They are now the proud parents of triplets. Their three boys are named Harlan, Conley, and Nolan. Dr. Tripp also participates in local ice hockey and softball leagues. They have both recently participated in events with Teams in Training in support of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.




Dr. Andre Brun, D.M.D.

Dr. Andre Brun is a double graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a BSc in chemistry (1997) and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (2004). From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Brun specialized in Oral Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. In this program, he focused on treating hospital patients with general dental needs, as well as patients with TMJ disorder, Sjogren's syndrome (dry mouth) and many different mouth related conditions.

For relaxation, Dr. Brun and his wife Chantal enjoy outdoor activities, such as golf, tennis and hiking. They also enjoy exercising at the YMCA and traveling.
